As a shareholder of both Prime and SWM I share your sentiments. However as a shareholder of Prime who purchased at above 30 cents based on their dividends (at that time) and franking credits of 17 cents a share I was of two minds if the proposed merger was equitable. It appears the entities that held the majority of PRT shares believed it wasn't. Living in hope that eventually there will be a merger and significant consolyof media interest in Australia.
