The US is heading towards over one million BEV's sold in 2023. While BEV's are up 63% for the qtr YoY, it is still early days. Ford alone has a target of 2m by 2026, They only sold 13,362 for the quarter. Tesla's market share dropped from 72% to 60% as other brands play catch-up. They still sold 37% more YoY. Once all those battery manufacturing plants come online in the next 2.5 years, growth will become exponential.
All in all, sales are heading in the right direction off a low base but you've seen nothing yet.
