The UN has also elected Mozambique as 1 of 5 non-permanent security council members for 2 years.
Probably separate to what's happening on the ground in Mozambique but this will hopefully spur further collective action to stabilising the whole region in question affected by the attacks, which is still quite far away from SYR's operations.
