30 mins into the into the show Graphex was very interesting and we’re positive about Syrah and the mine quality to supply them. They start 15k AAM in 12 months which they will need 25k of graphite. Said they are in due diligence for other plants of 100k and have a facility in China already.
Spoke about other mid stream facilities not be competitors as all supply was needed and a collaborative approach by the west is needed.
1 million tons of AAM needed in the US for 2030 which is about 1.5M tons of graphite. Balama might need that expansion as the tide turns.
I think Graphex could be a potential JV partner for Europe or ME.
