I am a long-term holder of SYR, indeed since its emergence from CSE in 2007. I also own CSE shares so many ups and downs. Towards the end of 2014 in the Yahoo/Finance chart below the share price was over $3 and on its way to $6.40. I know there have been extra SYR shares issued diluting share value but I do not recall how many. Currently Syrah has 670.57M share on issue at $2.56 = $1.716b market cap. I would be interested to know how many shares were on issue in 2014 when Glencore approached and on 05/06/2016 when SYR had a high of $6.40 to work out SYR market cap at those times.
I have never been able to work out why SYR subsequently tanked as low as $0.20 in March 1920 as the mine still had its value and development plans were in progress.
In the past 3 years there has been very good progress, the share price reflects it and I think it will continue. FMG was under $2 in 2016, now $16+. I will settle for 8x growth in the next 6 years + dividends. o know how many shares were on issue in June 2016 when share price peak was
