Column 1I recently caught up with Chris Clark the MD & CEO of RocketDNA to discuss their recent contract wins along with its plans for the remainder of the year.RKT is currently trading at 1.3c with a market cap of $8.5m, as of the 30th of June they held over $1.4m in the Tin.RKT has also recently secured a $1m unsecured revolving debt facility to execute its growth plans.RocketDNA is a multi-national drone-based data service and technology solutions provider for the mining, security, agricultural and engineering industries.RKT provides services which include aerial surveying and mapping, security and surveillance, and blast monitoring and fragment analysis through a fully outsourced service with AI and fast data turnaround that allows enterprise customers to focus on operations on the ground while they take care of everything in the air.RocketDNA generates revenue through multi-year recurring revenue contracts and short projects which also have the potential to be recurring.RKT already has key customer contracts with Tier 1 and Tier 2 miners, South32, Newmont, Red 5 and Seriti Coal.Earlier this month, RKT announced two new contracts were signed for its PatrolBot autonomous surveillance solution for $350kPatrolBot is a security-specific model of the xBot solution series, providing autonomous perimeter monitoring and surveillance, ensuring the safety of critical infrastructure and assets.Industries such as mining, energy, and utilities face ongoing challenges in maintaining security across vast and remote areas.Costly methods including static cameras and human patrols can leave sites vulnerable to theft, illegal activities, or security breaches, especially in high-risk regions.Enter the drones.......Using AI-driven drones, the PatrolBot conducts autonomous patrols within large perimeter and area boundaries, detecting and responding to irregular activity in real time. The system provides continuous coverage without the need for human intervention, allowing clients to monitor and secure their sites efficiently and cost-effectively.

Column 1RKT was also recently selected by the Western Australian Police Force (WAPOL) to supply and deliver xBot drones and associated systems for a 3-year period. The program aims to enhance airborne law enforcement capabilities across the largest state police jurisdiction in the world, leveraging beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations. As part of the program, drone-in-a-box systems will be strategically positioned across the State, ready for rapid deployment in a wide range of law enforcement tasks, including emergency response, surveillance, and search and rescue operations. The dollar value of this award is not yet known, but one would think that if drones were to be positioned across the biggest state in the world, there would need to be a fair few of them. You just have to think about those two recent shootings of cops on isolated properties, had they had the Drones then it may well have been able to be avoided - which I dare say is why the WA Police force has come on board. That's just one example of value add for the coppers........Last month, RocketDNA signed a multi-year contract with Rustenberg Platinum Mines a subsidiary of Anglo American for its South African mining operations. The 2-year contract includes renewal of existing drone-based surveying services and the addition of new critical infrastructure security and monitoring and has a total contract value of $2.646m.The renewal with Anglo American provides important market validation for RocketDNA with respect to the high commercial value-in-use that their drone technology delivers to their customers.Chris Clark (the boss) recently did an interview with the great Kerry Stevenson which you can find on the link underneath - it explains it very well and after watching it you will probably wish you didn't read all of the above jibber and just watched the video. https://bit.ly/4ezREZDThe DRO retail army could well get a hold of this one soon, that's the hope for Chris, Flynn Bar and the rest of the crew @ Rocket. ASX briefs also spoke with Chris about the RKT story in much more detail which you can find below:https://bit.ly/4dhfJ6o
