A 40 year chart from NOAA is proof of nothing. I suggest some common sense should prevail and people should start to question reports such as the one presented by Bellcurve.. It is a cherry picked tiny fraction in time and has no basis to make any assumptions about climate change. It is laughable that anyone would present this as some sort of proof of ACC but the same BS is every where in the media and preached by not so intelligent politicians and many except it although more are questioning it now thank goodness. What this report conveniently leaves out is that the Arctic ice was increasing within that time period up to 2014 before it started to retract. How can this be if there has been apparently constant warming through ACC since the industrial revolution ? We know the ice has been much less than it is today during human habitation because they are finding a bucket load of evidence of farming and other human activity in some areas so I would take a guess and say that any retreat in the ice sheet is far more likely to be be a naturally occurring event rather than a man made event.
