I suspect not much difference to CVN in the next few years

The consortium have alot of leads from 3D that has already to been shot. Best practice high quality data over very large areas of the leases held, no further 3D required in the short term. I believe the consultation process is a step that should be done, but it no way stops the advancement of the project, and given the ruling regulation or law will un-undoubtedly be tightened and spelt out for industry certainty. Longer term it is just another step in the already very thorough NOPESMA, that does take into deep consideration marine habitats. A decade's worth of targets in current 3D at least.

It may even work to CVN's advantage, slow some of Santos's other exploration areas in the near term (next year or so) and push some interest or resources back into Bedout drilling.
