They realise it but they just don't care.

Mainly because the narrative has been hysteria about Covid.

If media & politicians started highlighting the economic and social damage with equal focus we would have had far more sensible conversations far sooner.

I've been watching TV news again over the last few weeks and had to stop as I was starting to drool out of the corner of my mouth and lose perspective.

Kudos to ScoMo and Gladys for the spine and leadership they are now showing.
