The AQA/AMCI situation is very interesting, especially in respect of the AMCI restructuring after the sale of some of its coal assets to CVRD - Vale and whether the AMCI restructuring complied with the AQA/AMCI API JV, still subject to legal proceeds.
The water gets muddier with AQA and AMCI taking separate stakes in API JV partners CUL, HLX, RHI.
I'm just content to hold AQA, CUL and HLX, and see what happens with the announcements expected by the end of this month on this 'exciting' project as it is refered to in AQA half year statement released today.
Perhaps would be lot easier if AQA, CUL, HLX and RHI were merged into a single coal/iron ore play, with other resources spun off? Just a thought.
