I remember reading it in another stock forum. Can't remember which stock. Apparently, it is believed that the ASX do not allow such kind of announcement as they consider it as ramping. In addition, this kind of progress can be put out on the quarterly update which is what PCK has done.

At end of day, we don't want too many such kind of announcements as the market will only mark it down as desperate fluff. I remember RAP used to do that and it gets the share price nowhere. I prefer the ones that actually has a money value attached to it like a deal with the NHS or Philips or an FDA approval, etc. Truly significant announcements. The rest, either a monthly business update like another stock I own or just the quarterly will do. After all, for long term investors, all we really should care about is that the business is progressing and improving daily, and heading in the right direction. As long as that is happening, the rest will take care of itself.
