I was surprised by John quite so brazenly signaling in the interview:

"The best way to defend anything is to have really quality strategic shareholders behind you. We now are looking for those solid strategic investors they can help you defend a take-over"

I hope they have the necessary evidence to back up these comments if pushed. BioHorizons put kind of a couple of small convoluted poison pills in their manufacturing agreement with OCC if you read the disclosed details, so it would take a very decent takeover attempt in light of likely forward business therein to over-ride those pre-existing defences in the existing business structure. J&J the obvious acquiring candidate, but I'd much rather an ATI partnership emerge, like most of course (and/or Remplir US parternship).

But welcome the positive share price news on the Chairman's "focus in getting out there and promoting the company to institutional and high net worth investors" as @whitepointer kindly recaps from the AGM (anyone else any commentary?) and the AFR article indeed suggests.
