It is still a bit risky for them given it is from an ASX listed company and is an unapproved treatment. It is still early days, you don't usually see media reporting on breakthrough treatments until they are approved.
Like I said though, it doesn't worry me. Never in history has mainstream media been responsible for picking a winning stock, as they usually take an ultra conservative approach to covering equities. The big investors certainly do not rely on mainstream media, so there really is no benefit associated with having ABC or similar promoting this treatment/company
Imo getting stock tips from mainstream media is even worse than getting them from the cab driver
