Biotech stocks can be a bit scary for people .... many have failed.
I have invested in a few that were promising eg PXS which
has not done well .... there are perhaps 5% which hit bigtime,
and not surprising that people are cautious when there are stocks
with revenue and profits. When those 5% succeed, the upside
can be amazing, eg NEU and that is why some of us choose
to take on more risk and hope that we will be lucky.... not
for everyone. Also comes down to whether you can afford to
lose your money. Actually I cannot afford to lose much, but am
confident that my entry price is such that any loss can be covered.
People generally will not be bothered to do extensive research
and you notice that many here have medical knowledge or are
longtime investors who will suss out the facts, or have met with
cancer and fervently hope for better outcomes.
