The key to Imugene's marketing and communication success in the future, from a public perspective point of view, is not too far away from this Channel 7 news clip. Whilst not perfect the clip contains the following content I have been calling for in recent years.
This includes
1. An Imugene representative (i.e., LC)
2. A brief product overview (i.e., as in the green video insert highlighting CF33's clinical effectiveness)
3. A real life patient story, in this instance a bile duct sufferer, and
4. Finally if not most importantly, a product specialist i.e., YF, SP or PK.
If this formula can be repeated time and time over on Youtube and mainstream TV in a format that is less than 3 minutes in length, IMO Imugene is on a winner when it comes to engaging the public, spreading the word and ultimately enlisting Shareholder participation.
It is just one cog in the wheel when it comes to overall company performance. Finance, clinical results, FDA communication, institutional backing and Big Pharma collaborations, then partnerships, all ultimately play a role. Yet IMO this is an area the company has failed to deliver. Last night was an important step toward improving the ledger on this score. I myself have been critical of late but am the first to acknowledge a job well done Imugene.
