Most hospitals are frantically busy places these days, but must say
that my 99 year old aunt, (a very difficult patient) has recently been in a
public hospital in Adelaide and also a private one. The nurses and
doctors had quite a lot of contact through myself, and I was amazed
at their kindess and caring attitude when they were obviously "under
the pump" with an old lady who was not giving them the gratitude
they deserved. She is deaf so didnt understand them, and because
she is inclined to ramble, they didnt understand her.. but at no time
were they dismissive or impatient. Commendations all round.
