Imagine, for example, that a potential buyer was a government owned company that might later use that key as a political weapon. Well, let's hope for the worlds sake that any deal isn't 8 billion, and the keys in one or the wrong parties hand.

I agree wrt a government/country wouldn't be silly to buy this if it is a cure for cancer. For perspective could you imagine USA allowing 'free' energy to be owned by Russia or China?
