IMU now makes price-sensitive announcements about upcoming price-sensitive announcements that are just a rehash of announcements made 5 months ago.

Here's me going out on a limb - I reckon the reason Nick Ede noted that IMU was "invited" to present (his quotes) is that another company didn't pay their presentation fee in time and so IMU was "invited" to step up to the plate with some cash. Makes it easier to justify the business (first?) class travel when you get to give a speech rather than just standing next to an old poster. So when he "expands" on the poster presentation it won't be an expansion of efficacy or even data, it will just be expanded waffling about what was announced in December.
