I have speculated before that if the data for the combo should show great efficacy against any solid tumour, then Amgen will BLINC And they would want to deal early before any data from the other OnCarlytics/Azercel is out. This way, Amgen could still hold the upper hand and could possibly get away with a cheaper deal. But if they wait until great results is announced for the OnCarlytics/Azercel, then the trump cards would all be in IMU's hand.

In addition, if Amgen deal for the OnCarlytics/Blincyto combo, then chances are, assuming results are as great if not better, another BP will very quickly fall in line and deal for the OnCarlytics/Azercel combo before someone else steals the march. Amgen if they are smart, might even put in a stipulation that they get first right of refusal to the OnCarlytics/Azercel combo when the results are out.

All in all, it is just a matter of data, data, data.
