For anybody feeling gloomy about their shares today, the first 5 minutes of this podcast should cheer you up , a lot.  Yesterday  listened to a really good interview with Shane Oliver who spoke at length on the economy and cycles in the economy.  Both had a similar message.

After many long years following the stock market watching booms and busts. And long periods in the doldrums, I can say the weather can change quite quickly. And when the boom is on, tons of money to be made.

Our turn here will come around. Focusing all day every day on the shareprice won’t make it happen any faster. Everybody has been give a wonderful opportunity to buy cheap hats in winter  here. It’s your choice whether you are patient enough to wait for summer to re-sell them for top dollar.
