I did cringe a little though to the “I don’t know” response to why the companies share price isn’t performing.
It was great to hear some commercial values and comments thrown around. As you referenced
@Taureanbull Gilead bought Kite for $11bil a few years back, basically for a couple CAR-T therapys. Those CAR-Ts aren’t performing that well, Kite had large layoffs also last year, mayjor contributing factor is US treatments centres to support CAR-T manufacturing are lacking, even if the demand is there, they just aren’t able to produce CAR-T therapies in an efficient effective way to really ramp up their revenue.
If Azer cel kicks some goals in it’s 1b and moves to registrational it’ll defs be a big taking point in big pharma boardrooms.
That should be around the same time we have initial combo data or at least confirmed CD19 tagging on solid tumours…not to mention MAST high cohort data.
It’s anyone’s guess when the big money will let this thing run again though…
