Hi Mr Learner certainly sounds like you are one of the lucky ones, me too, different cancer though was given 5 years about 13 years ago, went for surgery as well, Da Vinci robots had just started in Australia doctor said best chance of cure, as radiation and chemo could possibly used after surgery and cancer was debulked.
He was a very good doctor clear margins, still here no recurrence, got to meet two grand kids very very lucky.
I wish you well and I to have everything crossed hoping that IMU do make headway on this scourge of a disease.
