Having lost my wife to cancer this year after a 2 year battle i find your post and thoughts both repulsive and completely lacking in any appreciation of how a business works.
IMU has the potential to positively alter the life expectancy of people affected by this insidious illness in its various forms, whereas in the main the cosmetic industry is simply (IMO) a supplier of beauty products.
hence it is incomprehensible to draw a comparison between the 2 offered in your narrative
