Just an interesting article re Jimmy Carter
ex American President who turned 100 yrs
recently however when he was 91 he was
diagnosed with 4 melanoma tumors in his
brain and given months to live. In those most
early days of immunotherapy he was treated
with pembrolizumab which is currently being
trialled with Imugene's Vaccinia at St Vincents
Hospital in Sydney for cholangiocarcinoma.
Melanoma is not a target, as far as I know, for
Imugene's therapy atm, but obviously Jimmy
Carter is still alive and the combo currently
trialled may be a useful tool for melanomas
as well.
