    @Papagayo.

    Can I ask you to explain what your post has to do with IMU?

    If I’m reading it correctly you are implying that this company is overtaking IMU in the race to find a good treatment for cancer.

    It certainly appears that you do not have a good understanding of what IMU is actually doing. Not that you are the only one. So many posts here done seem to have a grasp of what IMU is working on.

    The treatment you highlighted is working on a blood cancer. Blood cancers are between 10-20 % of cancers diagnosed. The blood cancer space is very crowded with competing companies vying for a place. There are well over 500 CarT companies alone . Let alone all the other therapies.

    IMU is pursuing Solid Tumors which account for 80-90% of cancers diagnosed. This market is worth about $400bn . At this time there are no therapies that treat SOLID TUMORS effectively . And there are companies trying to access this market. It’s a wide open field. If you listened to a recent video the CEO Leslie Chong explained very clearly the workings of the therapy. The ONCARLYTICS CD19 program is the only technology of its type in the world. The virus infects the cancer cell and paints a target on the surface of the cell.

    Then the >500 CarT’s in development can be deployed to hit those targets and destroy the cancer cell.

    At this point in time IMU are the front runners to access the estimated $400BN solid tumor market.

    Its now a matter of waiting patiently for the trial data to be collected analysed and released to the market. It’s hard to understand why everyone is so negative at the most exciting point in the company’s history. The upcoming data release is what we have been chasing for 5 years.

    LC has dragged YF out to calm investors frayed nerves , but they obviously aren’t listening to what he is telling them . “It’s working better than he expected”

    Back to your post , having a therapy going through TGA approvals mean zip in Biotech world. Many companies don’t bother ever submitting products to the TGA. The Australian market is too small to waste time and money getting approved.
