I am just catching up with Leslie's presentation at the NWR Virtual Healthcare Conference last week. A number of quotes jumped out at me. I have listened to these several times to ensure accuracy.
onCARlytics - "CD19 does not appear in solid tumours. It’s only a blood cancer target. And so to bring a blood cancer response rate of 50% or more to solid tumours is the holy grail and something that we are looking forward to".
"This is revolutionary and we can’t wait to see the data unfold".
Regarding the upcoming preliminary combo onCARlytics data readout - "OnCARlytics, currently in very low dose with blin, highly anticipatory of what we will see in that particular program".
I have been guilty in the past of looking into company semantics and having timeline expectations that have not been met. I certainly expected (incorrectly) a MAST update during 2024. However, Leslie made the above statements without flinching, zero hesitation. Three presentations in the space of a week. It is reigniting my excitement for the MAST and onCARlytics data updates scheduled, and confirmed in these recent presentations, for H1 2025. My excitement levels are up again. I am waiting with great anticipation. Even with outstanding data there will be a long way to go with this journey, but it will be much easier to ride the ups and downs with some solid confirmatory data behind us.
