So far the "Magnificent 3", Shah, Eckstein and Hopper as well as the highly praised Kim Drapkin were unable to sell / partner the B-cell tech. Now Dr Byon is given the task. First 3 salesmen without the clinical product knowledge, now the clinical expert but non-salesman. Again, Hopper hasn't learnt, send a team. The clinician has to explain in plain English to investors or using clinical language to the industry players and then the salesman has to close the deal. At RAD, both are combined by the CEO and he got the job done. At CHM a similar picture, the CEO organising AUD 5.6m compared to Hopper's failed raisings. But at IMU they will need 2.
JD, LC mentioned there are many players in the PD1-sector, correct. But in this interview she forgot to highlight that PD1-Vaxx is the only B-Cell based vax. Therefore, many players, but none like IMU. And that was, if you read the IMU anns from 06/12/23, the reason to use PD1-Vaxx.
LC, probably not really putting weight on that, has mentioned at the end of the interview everyone who has high expectations of the 3 platforms but she did not mention the 2 groups which are the most important, Big Pharma and US investors. That confirms what we have observed now for 4 years, clinical side progressing, financial side stalling / going backwards.
The big Hopper-Problem still hasn't been solved: Either the science is great but Hopper & Co are too stupid to sell it or the science isn't appealing to the big pockets. Either way, that scenario can only end in tears and IMU is straight heading towards the final end.
The task, to save IMU and CHM , is to sell whatever data they currently got at a reasonable and not heavily discounted price.
