this may be incorrect.

The trial and its results do not necessarily have to take till 2022 to complete/finalise.

Two things,

The trial was effectively cut in half, this may not be reflected in the dates on the clinical trial website. That website is often slow to be updated with accurate info.

OS may not be reached for additional patients, which would be great for everyone. If this is the case, enough statistical and clinical data may be available at some point in time, the trial reported on, deals done, and in the end the OS that is eventually measured may or may not be made public. Depending a lot on any deal that is done on the already incredible data.

Although gathering more data up often increases the value for biotechs I think the data may already be robust enough for a great deal (idmc recommendation + assuming good pfs data + assuming enough os data). Don't forget the idmc recommendation was based on a statistically significant hazard ratio regarding OS of 0.418.
