My understanding is the recruitment numbers were lowered because there is a stong enough signal from the treatment group that it doesnt require a large sample size to show a significant difference. So based on this Imugene and IDMC would be predicting statistically significant differences between treatment and control groups at the end of the trial even with smaller patient numbers. What people need it understand is that this is actually an amazing result and highlights how effective using Her-Vaxx is for some of the patients over the usual SOC.
