There’s also the pending removal of IMU from the ASX200 and possibly also ASX300. I have a theory the shorters are keeping the price down with the anticipation of being able to pickup the “replacement” shares cheaply when the index funds offload IMU on the rebalance in a few weeks on 17/6. We’ll have to wait and see what happens but I wouldn’t be surprised if the brakes are released by the end of June.
