Just for a bit of fun I’ll put this out there ...
I have just had a chance to watch the latest Proactive video with LC (thanks Bavarian for posting) and I have read TBull’s comments, and of course the posts of many others who have tried to analyse what we see unfolding with IMU. Everyone is looking for ‘clues’.
So back to the ‘fun bit’. When you read all the company releases around VAXINIA, and in particular the structure of the Phase 1 trial – MAST there is a lot to take in. It is an Open Label, Adaptive Phase 1 Study in Mixed Advanced Solid Tumours (MAST). In other words, they are looking for the safest (obviously), but most efficacy from the following cancers ...
In intra-tumoral (IT) they are hunting:
• Head and Neck;
• Advanced Melanoma (that’s a real nasty); and
• TNBC (which is Triple Negative Breast Cancer – one of the most challenging to treat).
With intravenous (IV) they are hunting:
• Head and Neck (again);
• Advanced Melanoma (again);
• TNBC (again); along with;
• NSCLC (non-Small Cell Lung Cancer)
• Bladder;
• Gastric;
• Colorectal; and don’t forget;
• RCC (Renal Cell Carcinoma – kidney)
My take is they are expecting a response with the whole lot, but they don’t know at this stage which will show the strongest response. Initially, they will be keen to know which one it is because, as we know, clinical trials are astronomically expensive, not to mention time consuming. They want to know which is their ‘best bet’.
I don’t mind having a punt, it’s a bit of fun in moderation of course. So, I’m putting it out there to ‘the punters’ on this forum ... What’s your tip?
Which of these candidates will show the greatest response and therefore become the ‘best bet going forward’? It will only be an educated guess of course, as because us mere mortals (punters), are not privy yet, to the magic the City of Hope team are actually seeing.
It’s just for fun.
In fairness I will start. If you are happy to back up ‘your tip’ with a level of reasoning (guessing), then all the better. This can only lead to a better understanding of VAXINIA for everyone.
My tip ... TNBC.
Why? Because the team seems confident enough to want to tackle it via both IT and IV. Also, Merck’s latest results from Keytruda & chemo are very positive for TNBC. To me this makes some sense – especially as I believe they want treatment to move to market as fast as possible and a key shortcut is to team up with a treatment that already holds FDA approval.
So, tips anyone? To distract us during a lull in ‘positive’ share price movement.
PS – Imagine if there’s a massive response from all indications ... then IMU are in a real pickle. It would be terrible to find you have the cure to all cancers, wouldn’t it?
Never mind, the unimaginable profits would help to soften the blow a little, I guess.
