They tell you to buy because the chart look bullish, you buy but they never tell you to sell do they and there's lies your problem. The most important factor of a biotech start-up stock are the fundamental and funding and not the chart as the stock doesn't yet have a reliable revenue stream for the market to value the stock so picking the entry price is very difficult and depend on what you are planning to do. If you are holding until commercialisation when no doubt the pps will be $1+ then you wouldn't care if you bought at 15c or 30c.
