Nice article Dave
There is a whole economic / financial side to Cancer treatment ( well any health care treatments for that matter )
This is not to overlook the life disrupting regimes that these treatment programs cause for the patients & their families .
leave aside the question of effectiveness of the B Cell Platform , C 33 & Oncaralytics
Thats another discussion - BUT SEEMS LIKE ALL x3 PLATFORMS COULD BE NO BRAINERS !!!! ... as indicative info to date implies effectiveness at a similar level to the current SoC ( Thats certainly seems to be the case with the B cell Platform ...and rumours seem to indicate its going to be the case with C 33 ) - Side effects ???? ....bugger all by the sounds of it
....... lets look at the costs of treating a cancer patient
Who pays for the costs ?
a) People who have really good insurance
b) People who are pretty well off and can round up $100 k - $500 k
c) People who aren't that well off ...and maybe need to send themselves bankrupt paying for the exceptionally expensive regimes
c) Government health care programs ..... ( and just how much can government afford to pay etc etc
Where do the costs go ?
a) A stack to the Big Pharma companies
b) A stack to the health care providers ( Treatment times in facilities , hospitalisations , after care , day patients , etc etc etc
What sort of disruption is it to the Patients life , and the family / support groups around that patient
> I'l let people discuss that .... but doesn't need a lot of imagination ...as anyone whos had
sick family mmembers of freinds will know !!!
In summary - The costs are frikking astronomical !!!!

So enter the B Cell Platform & C 33
> Apparently minimaal costs of Direct production
> Apparently minimal costs of administration
> Apparently minimal costs of treatment regime
> Apparently little disruptive costs to the patient's & family life
So now segway to the Insurance industry & Govenment health services
The economics of the B Cell Platform & C33 ....could be akin to the economics of LED lights --- ie providing the same Lumen Output at a about 20% of the power consumption
Note this could be a bit of a naive assessment on my part ..... and skeptics might say " we have no proof yet " ----- but there in lies the opportunity with IMU
It looks like a pretty good risk reward scenario ...and especially so at these levels
