What you say here is completely correct. But, with greater risk comes greater gains or loss. As proven here 1500% gain (by 3 times the amount of option for same purchase cost) vs 555% gain. But, as you said, that 1500% could have been 0% (negative if buy in cost is included) if the science didn't work. Not all option stories are happy ones.
