Point one. “Universal platform for tumor targeting”. That’s what IMU intends to show the world! CF33 will be the SoC for any cancer therapy. CF33 will mark or tag the cancer cells enabling all other therapies to piggyback from there to kill the cancer cells..
Point 2. “Potential for becoming enabler for universal Car-T therapy”. There are over 500 CarT companies all looking for the opportunity to target solid tumors. Several of these companies are developing off the shelf CarT therapies to avoid the high cost and time delays of using the personalised approach many CarTs use.
Point 3. “Likely to expand market for CPI, Car-T, T-cell engagers, ADCs”. Here we have even more cutting edge therapies that need CF33 to turn the tumors from cold too hot so the cancer sells can be killed. We are talking seriously big bucks now. Just recently SEAGEN which is a company developing ADCs sold for US$24bn. IMU are planning on being to collaborator of choice for all these companies!
Point 4 “Transgenes for enhancing T-cell survival and expansion”. Let’s not forget all those big selling T CELL therapies who would love to expand from 10% of cancer patients to 100%. A 10 fold growth opportunity. This is where blockbusters like Keytruda US$22bn PA sales fit in. We don’t want to leave anybody out. Their money is as good as anybody’s.
Point 5 “New targets for synergistic actions with engineered cells (Car-T, NK-Car), Bispecific T-cell engagers, ADCs Goal: No off-tumour or off-target effects”. Can’t leave these opportunities out. Might as well scoop the awards and make it a clean sweep.
The next few weeks be a busy period for Teamimugene as they plan their attack to dominate the oncology world. As a guess, we are probably in for a plethora of new announcements as they set out to prove CF33 can actually make all 5 points come true.
