Yuman states that he expects vaccine strategies (i.e. preventative), in addition to patient treatment, to be available in the next 5 years. This implies that patient treatment will be available sooner, and probably much sooner.

To directly quote him from this interview:

“… there are many, many things to come along - and not to mention, vaccine strategies that I’m hoping also in the next 5 years will bring us an ability for our bodies to recognise cancer, and remember cancer, and attack cancer.”
