Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was an annual award ceremony...

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was an annual award ceremony for medical inventions and drug discoveries subsidised by the wealthiest in our world. Yes there is the Nobel for medicine and so on, but as we are on the cusp of another Acadamy awards where there is such adulation for film stars, it would be just such a sea change to have such an annual event. We see things develop like the Earthshot Prize each year for the environment for example and there are likely other such awards. I am sure Hollywood would contribute as they too celebrate the lives lost to disease each year with their In Memorium. The award I am thinking of would have categories and there would be funding allocated as the true prizes. I am probably a bit too much of a dreamer but it would be great if the true focus of awards went to those who actually help humanity.
