A lottery ticket with an unknown draw date...
We could become extremely rich anytime...or...we could become extremely disappointed anytime....actually we could die anytime.....anything could happen amytime...the most likely outcome is.....we could be talking about the same things..... over and over again... We may think we are dissecting the situation objectively.....imho... we are most probably just projecting our hope, greed, fear, boredom, etc.
In the meantime, all of our clocks are ticking inadvertently towards our individual expiry dates...
