There seems to be this underlying view that if you hold, you can’t reasonably change your mind about prospects of success or the performance of management, for example. That if you are a “real” holder, you must always be positive and not have any doubt about the company.

I find that mindset really weird and it’s very prevalent on these threads.

It’s ok to question management, doubt your investment etc. To do so also doesn’t mean you have to or should sell out and move on (sometimes there are very legitimate reasons why it financially doesn’t make sense to, even if your sentiment is negative…it’s not always that simple). Everything is just so binary here - either this is the bargain of the century and you’re an idiot if you don’t see that (and please move on if you’re going to be critical), or hope is lost. Strange place.
