I don’t know if anyone else here is as boring as me and sometimes glances over at the TV when ABC’s ‘Question Time in Parliament’ is on, but today, they discussed CAR T therapy for blood cancer treatment. In Federal Parliament! This all came about as a result of the other story just last week where that father was approved for CAR T therapy treatment in the USA. Parliament were talking about this new ‘CAR-T therapy’, this amazing new Bio technology where a cancer sufferer’s own T cells are removed, treated and then put back in to fight the blood cancer.

They even mentioned there was investment going into a manafacturing facility in Melbourne for CAR-T production, the first in Australia.

They all seemed amazed. No mention of Imugene of course. Azer Cel is of course an Allo CAR-T therapy. We all know it should be better as it will be off the shelf.

I just hope that IMUGENE is in the right place at the right time to take advantage of this new awareness out there that is building in this space. They need to make their presence known and felt and I hope that is happening.
