I don’t want to get involved in the too & fro with you & other posters here, but I can tell you now, Medtech including telehealth, data collection, decentralised medicine & R&D in clinical trials is big business & over the past year has progressed with Big Pharma M&A. Multiple licencing & buyouts.

These include APPs, diagnostic devices & alternatives to putting patients at risk during the pandemic. This is what got me interested in CDX in the first place, not the wearable consumer side of things, that is just a big cherry on top (for me personally).

Our next lot of big news maybe, with Mobvoi. Being in clinical trials with Bayer & AZ, well that’s a plus to validate with real world data & we could see something from the Medtech side sooner than consumer side of the business. Maybe some here would be surprised of the value of that?

What I have seen develop over the last year & this is on the coalface of being a clinical trial nurse is ever evolving - or drug development & recruitment of patients onto clinical trials would not be able to continue at an acceptable pace, particularly with Big Pharmas. Multi-billion dollar stalls on clinical drug development.

Telehealth is not just about having a phone call to your Dr if you have respiratory symptoms either until you are cleared for COVID.

There is real time technology for accurately assisting with unwell patients in remote areas with specialists in Tertiary hospitals that are able to give support & advice, this is becoming all the more important.

As it is in clinical trials & treatment. A nurse coming to your home in full PPE to do these things, would never be dreamt of a couple of years ago, or a patient taught to self inject or the option of IMP delivered to patients directly & CTC explaining everything over telehealth. We have these options now & new things available on each new trial.

So have a think about this, I am amazed at how things continue to evolve. COVID we don’t believe will magically go away, I’m betting on 2024, but in the meantime, we have to find other ways around this Ogre of a virus & the Pharma Industry & Contract Research Organisations are doing all in their power to make things work. Big Business!!

Omicron strain is Vaccine evasive - it’s infecting HCW, but not so scary when triple vaxxed. Delta is still around. The vaccine worked well against this one but we have to be so mindful of each patient, because you can infect others & we don’t want to see this, especially for vulnerable populations.

A nasty red day on the ASX across the board in biotechs, it doesn’t mean your IP is bad.

This is the only stock I’m red on at the moment, but that doesn’t bother me at all. I bought at the right time I still feel. We’ve all been here before & a bit of a tough time with CR & consolidation.

We know why now, when you see progress on FA on multiple stocks & big dips, you really need to start to look at your DD & why you invested in the first place & where they are at now. Not freak out at the SP!!
