Great questions @mitis, it’s always good to ask the right questions to confirm. I too had similar questions as the deal just seemed way too good to be true.. I specifically liked where Steven said this which I also picked up from the acquisition announcement. “Our deal with the seller is that if the discharge is not awarded they will pick up the cost of the restoration. We were keen to ensure that we did not simply acquire a future liability. Note that the discharge permit technical work has been done and signed-off so we believe the risk of this is relatively low.” This basically means there is zero downside to this mine acquisition. If we don’t get the permits (which seems to be a very low chance of that happening) then there is no harm done and we are not out of pocket for absolutely anything.. But the upside potential is massive, especially if there is high grade mineralization from the surface which Steven suspects there is!
