Now please try to return to what the original point was that was being debated

That is that over time the share market will give better returns than the property market

This before you start another of your endless foolish rants DOES NOT MEAN real estate is not a good investment it DOES NOT MEAN shares are a better investment than real estate (IT IS A DIFFERENT INVESTMENT) because the greater gains means an exposure to greater risk

This is not what investment may or may not generate better cash flows or give some minimal tax advantage over the time is is held

BUT THE RETURN FROM THE PARTICULAR INVESTMENT MARKET OVER A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME.
