Warnie, when these guys compare these returns, it seems they are generally thinking in line with '500k property' vs 'sticking 500k in a term deposit', as though both were cash buys.
The other point with property is, would a bank loan you 500k to put in a term deposit? Property seems to be the best way to get access to more money, because you are buying an more illiquid, safer asset with it.
