Was thinking the same thing. Survivability proven absolutely here. Wind speeds like that and no protective containers. Plus no protection inland in real terms as the USVI is narrow and the area of the plant cleared rainforest.
Another string in their bow. Should promote this fact if they haven't already thought so, as these weather events become more common/severe and water resources are the first to be compromised.
