This is why the Standford reference site, which should be up and running in Jan, is so important, as right now, we have the tech (containerised MABR) to take every large residential and commercial building in these US cities off grid by placing these CMABR units in the basement of these buildings where the main lines exit. Turning a small amount of this water into potable water onsite with the rest being recycled as Class 1A water as 90% of what these buildings use does not need to be pottable. Collection of rain water add's further water into the system to replace any losses and greatly reduces demand on centralised infrastructure....both incoming and out going. Standford first then a few test sites then a more comprehensive roll out.....far cheaper and quicker to decentralise than replace 100 yr old pipes beneath main city roads. CMABR unit runs into trouble....repair or replace rapidly....main line breaks and multiple buildings go without water for many hrs whilst this is being repaired.
