    @mallis,

    A couple of Fluence's business arms (US & Italian) have some experience in the paper and pulp industry application.

    The Brazilian arm even has experience in MBBR applications.

    At this stage however, I believe that MABR and SUBRE is off the table for industrial type applications.
    The biofilm formation requires a certain BOD : COD ratio for the required nutrients and nitrification/de-nitrification process.
    COD is currently too high in industrial waters (around 4000 mg/L) 10x higher compared to the 400 mg/L found in municipal sewage.

    Fluence would seem to prefer to use the experience of their Italian business unit, and apply waste-to-energy type processes to industrial wastewater.
    They are even now offering an MBR process under the Nirobox category for these types of applications if the client requires a containerized solution.
