    The only place MABR will have in terms of mining is at mining worker accommodation camps. This is similar to the type of product (Aspiral L + UF) they shipped to WaterFleet for an LNG accommodation camp in the US.

    MABR biofilm growth requires a certain type of nutrient mix in the wastewater, mining tailings (highly acidic/abrasive grit/chemicals/heavy metals/oils) and industrial type wastewater (high COD/chemicals) is not suitable to support the growth of the bacteria needed to form the biofilm.

    Fluence have some other solutions that might be suitable in EcoBox, ZLD and Tiptop packaged plants, but Aquatec Maxcon only distribute the MABR/SUBRE range.
