@Relax1, your mention of the 14th 5 year plan got me thinking... I was of the understanding that the Chinese Government adopted their 13th 5 year plan in 2016, meaning that this plan concludes in 2020.
At the beginning of the 5 year plan only 10% of rural wastewater was treated, with the plan mandating that this would be increased to 70% over the duration.
Understandably this was a big selling point for Fluence/Emefcy as the resulting opportunity in rural wastewater treatment over the 5 years was considered to be in the billions of dollars.
I guess there was some expectation that a lot of this implementation would come at the back end of the plan, culminating in 2020.
I am curious to know where the Chinese are at with this area of the plan.
I'd imagine they either have a lot of work to do in the coming 12mths to reach that goal, which could be pretty exciting for Fluence or perhaps its more likely the opportunity in the billions of dollars over 5 years that was often referred to was only a fraction of the 70% and the rest is pushed into the 14th 5 year plan and beyond.
Anyhow, there little doubt that if we were able to procure even a minor percentage of those billions over the next 12mths, we would all be pretty happy. Its becoming clearer that we have the perfect technology for the job.
