However, I do not think Fluence is involved.  I think you are possibly mixing up the former name of Emefcy in China - Jiangsu Meifusi Environmental Protection Technology with the other bidder Jiangsu Meihao Environmental Protection Technology.

Jiangsu Meihao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research, development, production, sales and service of water home appliances. It is the holder of the well-known Chinese brand of Meilu. The leading products are “Meihao” brand terminal energy activation machine, reverse osmosis pure water machine, central water purifier, central water softener, pre-filter and other household water appliances. In the past 10 years, the company has been exporting OEM products and products and components to well-known foreign water-related equipment companies (TGI, AQUAKLEEN, HEPWORTH, etc.), and accumulated rich production and technical experience during this period. Since 2007, the company has cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Jiangsu University of Technology to create a “Mei” brand in the Chinese water appliance market.

Fluence (Fulangshi Water Technology (Jiangsu)/ Jiangsu Meifusi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd) or MABR is not mentioned anywhere.

Additionally, if you look at the winning bid amounts, of 718000 yuan ($104k USD) and 826000 yuan ($120k USD), this appears to be too small to support a full MABR project.  The cheapest possible MABR equipment for a small project would be around $50k USD.  For our iTEST project, equipment costs look to be about 25 to 30% of total construction and installation costs.

If you compare to Yufeng County Education Park which was also tendered with Jinzi, for a 1000m3/d MABR project total project cost was 9.1 million yuan ($1.3 million USD), more than 10x the amount of these tenders.



Additionally, if this was using MABR technology, and was won in Sept 2018 with a 40 day project build timeline, it would have been completed by now.  Winning this would have validated an ASX announcement, being the first commercial installation in Jiangsu Province, where both Fluence and Jinzi are based.

Jinzi has cheaper sewage treatment available as well which they were installing previously to the partnership with Fluence.
